I cannot live without this lip balm. I have been using it since 2004 or 2005. I apply this lip balm every single night before I go to sleep whether my lips are chapped or not. I love the smell and I love the texture.
This product is a must have and trumps all of the medicated lip balms on the market that heal/help your sore lips.
I am a huge fan of Burt's bees lip balms. This particular balm, however, fell short of my expectations. I have this lip balm in it's stick form, so I like the formula itself. It's very minty and refreshing. I just found in the tin form it was too hard to get enough product on my fingers to put on my lips. I would definitely recommend the stick instead.
I am attached to this lip balm. I have used others including medicated, which seem to me that they dry out your lips as the product wears off, necessitating the use of more of it. I like this lp balm because it provides a protective layer and does not dry my lips out as it wears off. I also like the zing that the mint provides when I apply it to my lips. (The only nit picky thing I have to say is that I prefer the old tin that was covered in yellow and had the name and logo imprinted directly onto then tin instead of the current version that has a label applied. Has nothing to do with the contents, which are great - I recognize the efficiencies that the new format brings, but I prefer the old design).
This is a great product but the format makes it hard for me to apply. I rub and rub my finger on it, but it seems like it is really hard and it doesn't warm up enough for me to apply on my lips the way I'd like. I prefer the tube format by far, much easier to apply directly to my lips.
