Why did you change the formula?

You have discontinued a great product, which I had no problem paying premium dollar for... The new formula is not nearly as good as the old one and I will no longer be purchasing your brand. Why did you change it?

I don't think the first few reviewers like change, cause I honestly love this lotion. I never used the "old" version, but this one seems to do exactly what it says: lasts 24 hours. I don't mind the scent, as it settles throughout the day it smells like freshly baked muffins. Mmmm.

I love the way it leaves my skin feeling: soft and smooth all day. Great for winter time. The scent, however, is terribly strong. The only downfall to this product.

I got this lotion in a gift box for Christmas. I love Burts Bees so I was really glad to get it. I used the lotion on my hands, as I do regularly now, and loved it. Though the smell was a little strange to me at first, it doesn't bother me now. I use it when my hands are dry and also on a regular basis and it does wonders. I love how you can actually feel it hydrating your skin and it doesn't rub off or leave a gross slimy feeling on your skin. I can rub it in and it stays in. I know that I will be buying another tube of this when it is gone and I will be trying the other lotions that Burts sells also. Reading the previous reviews, I find that I don't have those problems with the lotion and I already have recommended this product to my family and friends.

What Happened to the Original!???

WHAHHH!! (that's me crying!!) I LOVED the original product - it's milky texture & heavenly scent (coocnut & peppermint) & so did at least 3 of my friends. The "improved" product isn't even close - thick, greasy texture & virtuually no scent except a touch of something unpleasant. I don't get why you messed with a great product. I will not be buying what used to be a staple, unlesss you return to the original formula. Looks like by what I'm reading here I am not alone. Please listen!!

If it ain't broke....

I much prefer the "old" fomulation it melted into my skin, had a very pleasing scent and was AMAZING!. The new lotion while it works OK, the smell is off putting and I don't find that it works any better than the average drugstore brand. Please bring back the original.

I don't understand why there are so many bad reviews abut this stuff. I love the fact that this lotion is natural, it also does what it says, deeply moisturize up to 24 hrs, and the most important thing to me, it doesn't cause allergic reactions like other lotions i've used before (even the more expensive ones which also claim to be natural). The smell is also great and it won't leave any greasy feeling. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone

I have been using Milk&Honey for years and years and I loved it like crazy. It was the ideal moisturizer for me because it was thin and easy to apply, never felt greasy, was mostly natural and smelled AMAZING! I never wore perfume when I had this moisturizer on my skin and received so many compliments on how great I smelled. I was incredibly disappointed to find the new and "improved" lotion in stores this summer. I thought it was just new packaging, as Burt's has changed this before, but boy was I glad that I tested some first. It smells disgusting and feels greasy and gross and it is thick and even the colour turns me off. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE bring back the old formula. It seems that I am not alone in missing it. Also, if you have any old stock somewhere, I will happily take it off your hands!

I used to love the original Milk and Honey lotion. The smell was amazing and even though the lotion was very thin and runny it moisturizes nicely and long lasting.
I have tried most brands on the market, and the original Milk and Honey lotion was the only one who worked on my hands during wintertime.
The new "improved" version of the Milk and Honey body lotion is greasy and feels unpleasant on the skin. The smell does not bother me but is not as nice as the original version either.
Is not worth your money!
As far as I am concern I will not buy this product again, unless they go back to the original lotion.

i have used the milk & honey lotion for years and loved it! i used to recommend it to everyone, i do not like the "improved" lotion, the scent and texture are not at all pleasant :( it also does not seem to absorb as well as the original lotion, i hope Burts Bees will continue to sell the original milk & honey, i know i will not be buying the improved one anymore

Now why would Burt's Bees fix what isn't broken?? I have been a long time consumer of Milk and Honey lotion and I absolutely loved it; I would pay up to $20 a bottle for it I loved it so much. The "new and improved" Milk and Honey smells disgusting and feels different, heavier and a little greasy. I have on many occasions used the original formula on my face it was so beautiful and gentle. Why on earth would you mess with a perfect product?? It smelled amazing; and now it smells like chemicals. I will not continue to buy this product unless they go back to the original formula. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!!

I Miss The Original

I hate to say it, but the smell of this makes me want to puke. I am almost afraid to use it, because it makes me cringe. Maybe it's because I've gotten to compare it to the original milk and honey body lotion. Please bring back the original, I miss how thin yet moisturizing it was. The only thing better about this is that it's .7% more natural than the original, and that doesn't nearly make up for the smell it is now to how it use to be.

All except the smell

I received this product in my christmas stocking and was pleased with the fact that it stayed on my skin and worked very well for the 24 hours that it claimed BUT the smell was too over powering and you could be smell me from yards away and you could tell where I had been. I think this is a great product but you must do something about the smell, by the time I got to 3/4 of the way to the bottom I could no longer go the overly abundance of the smell; Therefore I could not recommend this lotion to anyone due to the smell even though it worked very well. I most certainly would use this product if the smell was reduced by 80% .
